The Eulogy Project

As a tribute to the death of free speech.

About

The Eulogy Project is an initiative of the 000196 Foundation, an independent collective dedicated to preserving open and uncensored communication in the digital age.

We believe that freedom of speech and information should never depend on the permission of centralized authorities, corporations, or algorithms. This project explores how technology can serve that freedom, not control it.

Technology Stack:

  • GunDB — for distributed data synchronization
  • Nostr relays — for censorship-resistant message propagation
  • BLE mesh networking — for offline peer-to-peer communication
  • TOR — for privacy and anonymity

Unlike platforms designed around moderation or profit, The Eulogy Project will also feature a public, non-moderated chatroom, a shared space for free expression, open dialogue, and unfiltered exchange.

Current Status

v0 — Concept Phase
The project is currently in the conceptual stage. Design discussions and technology evaluations are ongoing, but no implementation has yet begun. This is not a product. It's a statement, and a call to build something that can outlive censorship.

We invite developers, thinkers, and advocates of free software to join us in creating a communication system that belongs to everyone.
